Admission Procedure


Admission to NTT/NPTT courses:

The minimum qualification for Nursery Teacher Training(NTT)/Nursery & Primary Teacher Training(NPTT) course is intermediate or equivalent.

Admission Procedure:

  1. Candidate seeking admission in any of these courses(NTT/NPTT) first Register himself/herself at the institute.
  2. Pay registration charges and the application processing charges.
  3. Attach the necessary testimonials in original(originals will be returned after the verification procedure completes, which may take 15 days) and 3 attested photocopies along with 6 passport size photographs.
  4. The application form and the necessary documents will then be processed by the institute and sent to the University for admission.
  5. Candidate is required to submit the application form along with the documents before the last date of admission(as intimated by the institute according to university direction).

Documents Required for Admission:

Following documents should be attached with the application form:

  • Photocopy of mark sheet/certificate of high school & intermediate.
  • Latest passport size photograph of the candidate.
Admission to B.Ed. Programme:

The admission process is strictly based on merit of the applicant determined by the university followed by counselling sessions taken by the university authorities. The cut off percentage for B.Ed. General programme is 50% marks at the graduation level. However, for the students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category the cut off percentage is 45%.

Documents Required for Admission:

The following documents must be attached with the form along with other certificates:

  • Matric Certificate & Mark Sheet
  • 10+2 Certificate & Mark sheet
  • B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Mark sheet of Part 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Degree / Provisional Degree (Original)
  • M.A./M.Sc./M.Com Mark sheet (All Semesters)
  • M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. Degree / Provisional Degree (Original)
  • Migration Certificate (Original)
  • College Leaving Certificate
  • Other Certificates (If Any)
Admission to M.Ed. Programme:

Master of Education(M.Ed.) is a regular course, it's a post graduate course and its duration is two years.

Admission Procedure:

Admission in M.Ed courses in regular mode is on the basis of Merit & Counseling. For this purpose the Marks in your B.Ed will be considered. University will allot a regular college to the students on the basis of their merit. There can be various merit lists depending on the availability of seats in various colleges. The university is Approved by UGC, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.

Documents Required for Admission:

  • 10th certificate and mark sheet
  • 12th certificate and mark sheet
  • Graduation Mark sheets
  • Degree of Graduation
  • B.Ed Marksheet
  • Masters degree mark sheets
  • 5 Photos
Admission to D.El.Ed. Programme:

The candidate seeking admission to D.El.Ed. course should have passed 10+2 standard examination with 50% marks. The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central/State Government whichever is applicable.

Admission Procedure:

Admission to D.El.Ed course shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the Central/State Government.
